You’re looking for a night out with your mates, kids in tow and yes even us Mums (and Dad’s) deserve to take the night from cooking and doing the dishes.
Well gather the gang and check out Robina tavern. It’s not fine dining but kids and fine dining do not go together anyway, they struggle to sit still and their table etiquette…well you’re still working on it.
Take them to a place where you can all relax and all have some fun, the kids can run around and be kids! Robina Tavern is a casual spot that will suit everyone, the bistro has family dining, there are televisions for the men to check on the sports scores and the kids will love the indoor games room and running about in the outdoor play area with tunnels and slides. They offer a good choice of kid’s meals for only $6.95 and you can upgrade to get ice-cream and a drink for only $1.
Friday and Saturday nights are the best as they have fairy entertainment and she does the most amazing face painting (from 5.30 to 8pm). You can get free kid’s meals on Saturday when you purchase an adult meal – you have to like that! (that’s for kid’s under 12). There is also music to chill too out on the deck overlooking the lake, (bring a jumper for these cooler nights) and the music was just perfect for families, there is even room to get your groove on. Check out the band on Friday nights until 9.30pm or Sunday afternoon’s from 1.30pm to 4.30pm.
You say tavern, we think schnitzel and this place claims to do the chicken parmigiana like you have never tried before - you might just have to put it to the test.
